20 Years of Impact.
Since Lyra was founded by Elizabeth Hainen in 2004, we have touched the lives of over 4,000 students, given $125,000 in awards and scholarships, and mentored 70+ young harpists. 100% of our students attend college; many of them are first-generation and overcome significant socioeconomic challenges to do so. Lyra has redefined access to music education and become the leading model for harp programs in the country. It is only through the generosity of individuals, corporations, and foundations that such success has been possible.
