Lyra Connect
Lyra Connect is a recital series that brings the harp to your community. Interested in a harp performance? Fill out the form below and we’ll be in touch!
Lyra continues to find opportunities for students to perform and represent the harp, our organization, and themselves. Our students have played everywhere, including CHOP, the Philadelphia Foundation, at the Breath of Life Gala for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and the Free Library of Philadelphia Gala. Our Teaching Artists perform alongside them, both encouraging and inspiring them. Chaperoned by Lyra staff, our students then engage with the attendees to share their enthusiasm for the causes and for their instrument. Our students are given many responsibilities, including arriving on time, setting up, bringing the appropriate music and attire, and maintaining a professional demeanor. They follow through on what they had promise and to succeed independently, with the safety net of our staff.
